Requirements
In order to have DOM IT Services administer your server you must meet the following
requirements:
- For security reasons, the server must be located in one of the DOM
server rooms
- Consult with the DOM IT Services group during the initial phase
of the project and before ordering the server
- Include in grant/budget proposals all necessary hardware, software,
and support costs for the project
- Review all IT-related contracts/agreements with a member of the
DOM IT Services group
- Purchase approved hardware and software from an approved vendor
