The Department of Medicine IT Services group was created in 1997 to provide excellent computer support to the Department's faculty and staff. In order to keep up with our innovative and energetic users, we strive to maintain the highest level of technical expertise and customer service skills. Over the last 10 years our group has doubled in size, and expanded our support to multiple server and desktop platforms, handheld computers and smartphones, and increasingly complex software applications. We now support twice as many devices and ten times as many servers as we did in 1997, and we continue to develop outstanding web sites and mission-critical applications. Throughout this time, we've never lost our focus on the Department's missions: caring for patients, educating physicians, and generating knowledge through research. Our support for these missions, and the people who help the Department of Medicine achieve them, is what drives everything we do. We're here for one reason: to help you succeed!
